The 4th International Scientific Production Conference "Innovations in technologies of sheet materials forming and modelling of technological equipment in aviation and other industries" was held on February 7, 2019.

CEO of Ulyanovsk NIAT JSC, Doctor of Engineering, Vladimir Anatolyevich Markovtsev delivered welcoming remarks. He noted the importance of such events, and also shared plans for the future.

Head of the Department of Materials Science and Pressure Metal Treatment of Ulyanovsk State Technical University, Doctor of Engineering, Valery Nikolayevich Kokorin presented his opening speech. He congratulated on the event and wished all those present new scientific and technological achievements.

The conference was attended by employees of various Russian enterprises.

- Lepestov A.E., Ph.D. in Engineering Science, "Design of rollers using COPRA RF".

- Tairova E.A. "Automation of the design of technological electronic models of aircraft frame parts under conditions of the product digital model".

- Podmarev D.R. "Development of a contour laser cutting technology with the use of mechanical activation of rolled metal products”.

- Popov A.G., Ph.D. in Engineering Science, "Longitudinal bending of fuselage frame billets made of sheet materials".

- Baranov A.S. "Technology of manufacturing a closed cross-section profile from a round tube of small diameter using interstand conductive devices".

Workshop “Techniques for calculating technological processes using engineering analysis programs” was held on February 8, 2018.

The workshop was prepared for design departments of Ulyanovsk enterprises engaged in the design of forming and cutting equipment, as well as students of Ulyanovsk State Technical University, Department of Materials Science and Pressure Metal Treatment that plans to use engineering analysis in its work. QFORM software was recommended for teaching students of Ulyanovsk State Technical University.

The following reports were presented at the workshop:

- Method of profile cutting process calculation using LS-DYNA (for the design department).

- Master class on hot forming simulation.

- Identification of material models using LS-Dyna.

- Results of Qform testing for pressure metal treatment processes.

- Method of sheet article forming calculation using LS-DYNA (for the design department).
